This embrittlement can be modified by a full solution annealing treatment. This grade performs well at temperatures below 300¡ãC. Alloy 2205 is a ferritic-austenitic stainless steel used in situations that demand good corrosion resistance and strength. These austenite and ferrite stainless steels offer superior corrosion resistance than the 300 series stainless steels.

The manufacturing process of ASTM A790 UNS S31803 duplex seamless pipes involves several stages, including melting the raw materials, casting the billets, hot rolling the billets into seamless pipes, and cold drawing and annealing the pipes to improve their mechanical properties. The standard regulates the chemical composition, dimensions, and testing requirements for the pipes.
