Nickel Alloy 400 is known for its resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions, including alkalis (or acids), salt water, hydrofluoric acid, and sulfuric acid. Since Monel 400 or Alloy 400 is a cold worked metal, this alloy has high hardness, stiffness and strength. Hastelloy C276 Flanges Hastelloy C276 Flanges are made up of the nickel chromium molybdenum alloy that is called hastelloy. The Hastelloy C276 Flanges have high melting point of 1370 degrees Celsius. This high melting point allows for higher operating temperatures of the flanges. The material also has 790MPa minimum tensile strength and 355MPa minimum yield strength.

The nickel content in UNS N08800 bars provides excellent resistance to chloride ion stress-related corrosion cracking, which in turn is another important feature of nickel alloy 800h round bars.

Alloy 625 is especially useful where oxidation resistance and pitting avoidance are required. In the annealed condition, this Inconel is fully austenitic and suitable for machining. Due to its high alloy content, it provides excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of severely corrosive environments. With a nickel content of nearly 60%, it is virtually immune to stress corrosion cracking.

N08825 Slip-On Flange Incoloy 825 Flanges (UNS N08825) is composed of addition of molybdenum, copper, and titanium into its nickel-iron-chromium base. The extra metals give Incoloy 825 Blind Flange exceptional resistance against corrosion, even more so than other nickel alloys.

Compared with ferritic stainless steel and austenitic stainless steel, duplex stainless steel pipe has good welding performance. It is neither like the welding heat affected zone of ferritic stainless steel, because of the grain coarsening, the plastic toughness is greatly reduced, nor like austenitic stainless steel, it is more sensitive to welding hot cracks.
