304/304L stainless steel sheet is often used in cold forming operations during the application process. Its cold forming performance is an important technical indicator to measure whether the forming is smooth and the yield rate. The influencing factors of cold forming of 304 stainless steel are more complicated. As far as its metallographic factors are concerned, it is mainly the composition of the steel, that is, the ratio of chromium equivalent to nickel equivalent, and the elongation of conventional tensile properties is an important characterization index. In order to obtain good cold forming properties, the ratio of chromium equivalent to nickel equivalent in the steel needs to be controlled within an appropriate range.
