347 Alloy 347 S34700 pipe and spool drawings
Alloy 347 (UNS S34700) is columbium stabilized austenitic stainless steel plate with good general corrosion resistance and somewhat better resistance in strong oxidizing conditions than 321 (UNS S32100).
In strongly oxidizing environments, the corrosion resistance of 347 stainless steel is slightly improved over that of 321 stainless steel. In this temperature range, the overall corrosion resistance of alloy 347 stainless steel is better than that of alloy 321 stainless steel. Alloy 347 also performs slightly better than Alloy 321 in strongly oxidizing environments up to 1500¡ãF (816¡ãC). Very low levels for building components that should be resistant to fouling up to about 1050¡ãC and widely adapted to the influence of sulphurous gases, especially above 900¡ãC.
