4140 steel bar alloy bar

It is almost the same as AISI 4130 chrome-molybdenum alloy steel, but with a slightly higher carbon content. Compared to AISI/ASTM 4130 alloy steel, AISI 4140 steel has a higher carbon content, which provides higher strength and heat treating capability, but also has limited weldability.

4140 is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel with an excellent weight-to-strength ratio. It is much stronger than standard steel. Although it is a chrome steel and is often referred to as “chrome steel”, it does not contain as much chromium as stainless steel. As a result, corrosion resistance is improved compared to standard steel, but not to the same extent as stainless steel. Additionally, these SAE 4140 alloy round bars are primarily used as connectors between intermediate pipes. They also act as plugs to resist the pressure in the pressure valve. These are in huge demand in many large-scale industrial uses. SAE 4140 Alloy Round Bar is one of the best sellers and is known for its durable leak-proof properties.
