ASTM A182 Gr F304 flanges are high strength, high temperature and high temperature resistant. The material has a minimum yield strength of 205 MPa and a minimum tensile strength of 515 MPa. ASME SA182 F304 flanges have a melting point of 1400 degrees Celsius. If these flanges are produced according to ASTM A182 specification, it is implied that these flanges can be used in high temperature settings. In addition to the chemical and mechanical property requirements for 304 stainless steel flanges, this specification includes the heat treatments given.
