Due to its high molybdenum content and low carbon content, this grade is highly resistant to general and pitting corrosion. The lower carbon content makes it higher than conventional 316 steel. Sea water is highly unpredictable. It can vary widely in temperature, chloride levels, and the presence of microorganisms or debris. Therefore, BWMS filters must be durable enough to withstand these changes.
