A182 F51 2205 S31803 flange ring with the minimum yield strength 450MPa

This alloy is especially useful in the -50¡ãF/+600¡ãF temperature range. For applications outside this temperature range, this alloy can also be considered, but there are some restrictions, especially when used in welded structures.

Due to the chromium content (22%), molybdenum (3%) and nitrogen content (0.18%), the corrosion resistance of 2205 is better than 316L and 317L in most environments. ASTM A182 GR F51 Flange is the most widely used duplex stainless steel grade. DIN 1.4462 Round Bars are duplex stainless steel with a 50:50 austenite and ferrite microstructure. The high chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen contents of 2205 provide corrosion resistance superior to common stainless steels, such as, 316L and 317L in most environments.
