a335 wp pipe bend

A335 grade P5c pipe is a low alloy carbon steel (Cr-Mo) self-quenching in air where high hardness and residual stress are required for welding and it is not recommended for direct use in services requiring critical conditions. This situation requires the application of post weld heat treatment (PWHT). If you want to avoid PWHT then you can use preheat (120¡ãC) when soldering A335 grade P5c tubes. PWHT is required if the thickness of ASTM A335/ASME SA335 P5c alloy steel pipe is greater than 13 mm.
