Inconel 600 round bar is a nickel-based alloy with benign carburization and excellent corrosion resistance at high temperatures. Inconel 600 round bars are effective against drying Cl2 and many other different gases at mild and high temperatures. Alloy 600 bar is a nickel-chromium alloy with good oxidation resistance and resistance to chloride pressure decomposition cracking, high cleanliness water corrosion and acid oxidation at elevated temperatures.

Nickel 200 is a solid solution strengthened metal. Nickel 200 Bar Stock contains 99.6% wrought nickel by weight and is considered commercially pure nickel. DIN 2.4066 Bar has good mechanical and physical properties. For example, ASTM B160 N02200 has excellent resistance to many corrosive compounds as well as corrosive environments. Meanwhile, Nickel 200 is a solid solution strengthened wrought alloy that can be designed as round bars and rods. These two components are used interchangeably and can be distinguished from certain key functions.

Nickel Alloy 400 and Monel 400, also known as UNS N04400, is a ductile nickel-copper-based alloy consisting primarily of two-thirds nickel and one-third copper. Nickel Alloy 400 is known for its resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions, including alkalis (or acids), salt water, hydrofluoric acid, and sulfuric acid. Since Monel 400 or Alloy 400 is a cold worked metal, this alloy has high hardness, stiffness and strength. By cold working ASTM B164 UNS N04400 bar stock, the alloy is subjected to higher levels of mechanical stress, which in turn causes changes in the alloy’s microstructure.

Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and high strength at elevated temperatures. Due to its high nickel content, Inconel 600 is extremely resistant to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking. Age hardening is not required as Inconel 600 is hardened and strengthened by cold work only. The Inconel 600 can operate in temperatures as low as 700¡ãF (370¡ãC).

Nickel-copper-based alloy 400 Monel 2.4360 cold drawn rod is virtually immune to chloride stress-related corrosion cracking when exposed to corrosive media in typical environments. Monel 400 is a copper and nickel based alloy that is popular today due to its high performance. The alloy has excellent acid and alkali resistance. In addition, it has good tensile strength, ductility, excellent thermal conductivity, and can be hardened by cold work. Additionally, it can be used in applications with temperatures ranging from minus to 538 degrees Celsius.

As an alloy, Inconel 625 consists primarily of nickel, chromium and molybdenum. In addition to these three main metals, trace amounts of niobium are added to the alloy. Alloying any metal will not only enhance its physical properties, but also its mechanical properties. At this point, the addition of molybdenum and niobium to ASTM B446 Inconel 625 forged bar helps strengthen the alloy matrix. The rigid matrix of Alloy 625 bar provides high tensile strength without the use of strengthening heat treatments.

Nickel 200 Round Bar is a commercially pure wrought nickel. It has excellent resistance to a variety of corrosive environments and good mechanical properties. Other useful features of this alloy are its magnetic properties, high electrical and thermal conductivity, low vapor pressure and low gas content.

Incoloy Alloy 800 Round Rods are used in a wide range of applications such as nitric acid catalyst supports, reformer outlet pigtails and manifolds, heat exchangers, pressure vessels and dampers.

Monel 400 (UNS N04400) is a nickel-copper alloy with optimum high strength and corrosion resistance. It is widely used in a variety of severe acidic and alkaline environments. Monel is also used in pipes.

Incoloy Alloy 800 round bar is chemically equivalent to Incoloy 800 bar, with some tolerances for aluminum, titanium and carbon content. Hastelloy C22 bar contains a high amount of nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy as well as tungsten and is designed to provide excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of harsh environments. It is very resistant to corrosion in immersion environments and is used for chemical applications in the as-welded state.

Monel 400 is a nickel copper alloy popular in high performance applications. Monel 400 has excellent acid and alkali resistance, high strength, good ductility, good thermal conductivity, and cold work hardening. It can be used in application temperatures from minus to 1,000¡ãF (538¡ãC).

Inconel X750 is a nickel-chromium alloy that has been used for both wrought products and castings. Inconel X750 offers excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation along with high strength and good toughness properties at elevated temperatures.

Alloy 400’s alkali resistance makes it ideal for deployment in highly acidic environments such as salt water, sulfuric acid or hydrofluoric acid.

Monel 400 is resistant to a variety of corrosive conditions. For example, acidic applications involving hydrofluoric acid, brine, sulfuric acid and bases. Alloy 400 can only be hardened by cold work. Monel 400 is used in many industries for its excellent corrosion resistance, especially marine and chemical processing.

Inconel 718 is a precipitation hardening nickel-chromium alloy containing large amounts of iron, niobium and molybdenum, and small amounts of aluminum and titanium. 718 material maintains high strength and good ductility at temperatures up to 1300¡ãF (704¡ãC).

Compared to Alloy 718, Alloy 625 has higher corrosion resistance in high temperature environments.

Another important feature of Inconel 625 bar is its enhanced corrosion resistance. UNS N06625 Bar is resistant to a wide range of severe corrosive environments.

Inconel 600 is a nickel-based alloy with excellent carburization and good oxidation resistance at high temperatures. This alloy has long been used in the heat treatment industry for many of the same applications as RA330. Alloy 600 has useful resistance to dry Cl2 and HCl gases at moderately elevated temperatures. Due to the elevated nickel content, alloy 600 is not recommended for use in red hot conditions when sulfur is present.

Inconel 718 round bar is a rain-resistant nickel-chromium alloy that contains large amounts of iron, niobium and molybdenum, and small amounts of aluminum and titanium.

Inconel 601 is an alloy composed of nickel and chromium.

Inconel 718 is an alloy composed of nickel and chromium.

Nickel UNS N02200 Rod is a ferromagnetic, commercial purity (99.6%) metal product that exhibits good mechanical properties over a wide temperature range, along with high ductility and resistance to a variety of metals including hydroxides. Excellent resistance to corrosive materials. Nickel 200 alloy bars also showed good hardness levels, about the same as annealed mild steel. Additionally, Nickel 200 round bars can be found in hardened and tempered forms. It is a commercial unalloyed nickel with excellent corrosion resistance and very low resistivity. The alloy 601 also has good resistance to aqueous corrosion.

High levels of chromium and molybdenum provide excellent resistance to localized corrosion. The high nickel content provides very good resistance to stress corrosion cracking.

Hastelloy c276 round bars are ideal for general corrosion resistance based applications, but ASTM B574 designated bars are a low carbon based alloy that is very popular in the chemical processing industry.
