Grade B7 is the most common grade of A193 B7 alloy steel bolt material that is regularly utilized within the construction industry. The larger fasteners have 75ksi minimum yield strength. There are different types such as the A193 Gr. B7 Threaded Rod which are used in various high pressure, high temperature applications. ASTM A193 Grade B7 washers are high strength fasteners manufactured from a chromium-molybdenum steel and are quenched and tempered. Dimensional specifications are governed by ASME B18.31.2. Grade markings consists of both the grade symbol “B7″ and the manufacturer’s identification mark on one end of each stud 3/8” diameter and larger.
