A350 LF3 is a carbon steel fitting material for general industrial applications that can withstand continuous duty down to -140F. The material is supplied in a standardized state and then Charpy V-notch tested at -150F. The ASTM A350 Lf3 chemistry uses basic carbon as the alloying element and then adds other alloying agents such as manganese, molybdenum, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, nickel, chromium, copper, columbium, vanadium, and nitrogen. We use astm a350 lf3 material and any of the above elements in the manufacture of these flanges, depending on the requirements of the application or the needs of the customer. ASTM A350 Grade LF1 Flanges is a material specification for carbon and low alloy steel forgings that require notch toughness testing of piping components. Includes forged flanges, fittings, valves and other forged and machined parts. This specification covers chemical structure, mechanical properties, and impact testing for notched durability.
