ASME B16.5 ASME A182 Alloy Steel Flange mechanical properties
Alloy steel is divided into two categories: high-alloy steel and low-alloy steel. Low alloy steel flanges, on the other hand, contain about 0.05 ¨C 0.25% carbon and up to 2.0% manganese.
The ASTM A182 specification for flanges includes alloy steels (manganese, silicon, sulfur, chromium, and molybdenum), grade F91. Flanges are pipe parts used to efficiently connect pipe parts. Forged ASTM A182 F11 flanges are designed with carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, chromium and molybdenum chemistries. ASTM A182 F91 flanges are available in different face types such as ring joint, flat and raised face.
