ASTM B424 UNS N08825 spacer ring austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy flange
Alloy 825 (UNS N08825) is an austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper and titanium.
The fabrication of Alloy 825 is a typical nickel-based alloy, and the material is easily formed and welded by various techniques. It is similar to Alloy 800 but has improved water corrosion resistance. It has excellent resistance to reducing and oxidizing acids, stress corrosion cracking, and localized corrosion such as pitting and crevice corrosion. Under reducing and oxidizing conditions, Incoloy 825 resists general corrosion, pitting and crevice corrosion, intergranular corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.
