Hastelloy G30 is a nickel-based alloy with a high chromium content that provides superior corrosion resistance to commercial phosphoric acid and many highly oxidizing acid media.

Hastelloy 276 bolts and fasteners are suitable for most chemical applications in the welded condition. However, it should be noted that in environments where C-276 alloy weld joints are subject to attack, C-22 weld filler material should be considered. Hastelloy C22, also known as Alloy C22, is a general purpose austenitic nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy with enhanced resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.
