Butt welding fittings Inconel 600 elbows for piping connections
Alloy 600 / Inconel 600 is combination of Nickel Chromium and Iron providing a standard material for the chemical industry and the automotive engine, aero engine and airframe sectors.
Alloy 600 has good resistance to reduction, oxidation and nitriding medium corrosion. It has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking at room temperature and high temperature, and has good resistance to dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride gas corrosion. Inconel 600 has a far higher oxidation resistance than pure nickel because of its high chromium concentration. It has superior corrosion resistance in other conditions due to its high nickel content.High degrees of resistance to stress, seawater, exhaust fumes, and the majority of organic acids and compounds are exhibited by this alloy.
