C276 steel round bar PMI testing
Alloy C276 bar can be used for welding in most chemical process environments. Alloy C276 rods can be successfully fabricated in a number of ways. Inconel C276 round bars also have exceptional corrosion resistance and ability to withstand extreme temperatures. These Inconel C276 rods are available in a variety of sizes to meet customer application requirements.
The combination of high levels of molybdenum and chromium in the alloy used to make Hastelloy C276 round bars, with the addition of tungsten, makes these bars highly resistant to corrosion in many media. For example, the alloy is highly resilient to chloride stress-related corrosion cracking and localized corrosion such as pitting and crevice corrosion. Hastelloy C276 round bar is a nickel molybdenum superalloy with added tungsten designed for good corrosion resistance in a variety of harsh environments. The high nickel and molybdenum contents make nickel steel alloys resistant to crevice and pitting corrosion in reducing environments, while chromium is resistant to oxidizing media.
