Cu ni alloy ASME SB 466 USN C70600 tube
Copper-nickel alloys, also known as Cu-Ni, have excellent corrosion resistance, especially in marine saltwater environments. Copper-nickel alloys typically selected for seawater components and service equipment contain 10% to 30% nickel.
Copper-nickel alloys are widely used in multi-stage flash (MSF) and multi-effect distillation (MED) desalination plants. In addition to cost considerations, the choice of alloy depends on the corrosion conditions of various parts of the plant. ASTM grades outline specifications for seamless copper-nickel pipe (also known as copper-nickel pipe) suitable for general engineering use. Our copper-nickel 90/10 pipes are suitable for light duty condensers and evaporators as well as sugar mills due to their high processability and high oxidation resistance in wet environments.
