AL6XN is primarily used for its improved pitting and crevice corrosion resistance in chlorides. It is a formable and weldable stainless steel.

254 SMO is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel developed for use in aggressive chloride-bearing media or seawater applications. In order to suppress the welding of carbide precipitation, 304/304L stainless steel pipes can be welded by common welding methods. Manual arc welding, the thin section size of 304 stainless steel with 0.04%-0.06% carbon can be used with Austrian 002 electrode, which will not cause intergranular corrosion after welding. For thick section rulers, keep the resistance after intergranular corrosion resistance. , should be changed to 304L stainless steel or stabilized austenitic stainless steel.

A flange is a ring of steel (forged, cut from plate, or rolled) designed to connect sections of pipe, or to join pipe to a pressure vessel, valve, pump or other integral flanged assembly. Flanges are joined to each other by bolts, and to the piping system by welding or threading (or loose when stub ends are used).
