Inconel Grade 625 Tubing is a premium metal tubing composed of a nickel, chromium and molybdenum alloy combined with added niobium. These elements help the alloy last longer and resist corrosion under extreme conditions and high pressures.

Inconel 625 alloy is an oxidation and corrosion resistant nickel based alloy with excellent corrosion resistance and high strength. The outstanding strength and greater toughness are due to the addition of niobium, which works with molybdenum, to harden the alloy. The alloy has good fatigue strength and resistance to stress corrosion cracking against chloride ions.

Inconel 625 Seamless Tubing is unaffected by liquid solutions or oxidizing chemicals that may be present in their environment. In non-oxidizing environments, 625 welded pipe is corrosion resistant due to its high nickel and molybdenum content. It can withstand extreme low temperatures to high temperature conditions as high as 1800 degrees Fahrenheit. These elements help Alloy 625 resist various types of corrosion, provide excellent fatigue strength, and protect the alloy from oxidation. While nickel and chromium provide basic rust protection, the high molybdenum content also makes it suitable for use in marine conditions and resists pitting and other corrosion in wet conditions.
