Duplex round bar F60 steel round bar
2205 is the most widely used duplex (ferritic/austenitic) grade of stainless steel. It is used due to its excellent corrosion resistance and high strength. Over the years, many steel suppliers have made improvements to the standard duplex S31803 composition, and the resulting restricted composition range was recognized as UNS S32205 in 1996.
Duplex steel UNS S32205 round bar has high general corrosion resistance. F60 round bars are used for their excellent corrosion resistance and high strength. UNS S32205 F60 round bar is the most widely used grade and is characterized by high strength that is twice that of standard austenitic stainless steel grades.
UNS S32205 Leading manufacturer of different types of round bars, hexagonal bars, square bars and bars. The material contains 21% chromium, 4.5% nickel, 2.5% molybdenum and components of carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon and nitrogen.
F60 round bar has a minimum tensile strength of 105ksi and a minimum yield strength of 55ksi. The hardness of the bar is 255HBW. There are different sizes based on ASTM and ASME standards. uns S32205 F60 rods are available in diameters from 0.5mm to 500mm and lengths from 100mm to 6000mm with different finishes.
