good price super duplex stainless steel pipe
Duplex stainless steels have a microstructure which is 50% ferritic and 50% austenitic. This composition gives them a better strength than either ferritic or austenitic steels. Further details about this topic are given below (see ASTM A790 pipes).
This type of steel has several advantages and is often chosen over conventional ferritic or austenitic stainless steels due to its increased strength – it is about twice as strong as these metals. Stainless steels are divided into different categories, mainly due to the differences in their microstructural phases. While each class has different microstructural phases, stainless steels belonging to the duplex class have a microstructure similar to the other two classes, namely ferritic and austenitic stainless steels. Duplex stainless steels contain a mixed microstructure of austenite and ferrite.
