Hastelloy G30 is a combination of nickel, chromium, iron, cobalt, molybdenum, tungsten and manganese. Hastelloy G30 is primarily used to provide high resistance to chemical conditions. Hastelloy G30 is a high performance alloy with surface stability at high temperatures. In the welded form, the corrosion resistance is also carried over. Hastelloy G30 fasteners are highly ductile. Hastelloy G30 resists deformation at high temperatures. Hastelloy G30 is used in applications requiring high corrosion and deformation resistance. Using cold working, these fasteners are hardened. These fasteners have high oxidation resistance.

Hastelloy G-30 is an improved version of nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum-copper alloy G-3. With higher chromium, added cobalt and tungsten, the G-30 shows superior corrosion resistance over most other nickel and iron based alloys in commercial phosphoric acids as well as complex environments containing highly oxidizing acids. The resistance of the alloy to the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the heat-affected zone makes it suitable for use in most chemical process applications in the as-welded condition.

Hastelloy C-276 pipe fittings refer to factory-made wrought nickel alloy fittings manufactured to ASTM B366 UNS N10276. It can be designated as CRHC276(corrosion resistant fittings) or WPHC276(ASME pressure fittings). The fittings can be manufactured from pipe or tube of ASTM B619, B622, B626 UNS N10276, plate, sheet or strip of ASTM B575 UNS N10276, forging or bar of ASTM B564, B462, B472, B574 Gr. N10276. The Hastelloy C-276 fittings are mainly furnished in 3 connection types: butt welding, threaded, socket welding, covering a variety of standard specifications.

C22 can be hot worked or cold worked. However, C22 work-hardens rapidly. Therefore, cold working must often be performed in stages with intervening anneals. Parts should be annealed after cold working.

These have the advantage of nickel and molybdenum providing resistance against the most reducing environments. The oxidation resistance is also high in these materials due to the addition of the chromium content.
