Alloy C276 plate is a high strength grade designed to be thicker than 6mm. The panels have a minimum tensile strength of 601mpa and a minimum yield strength of 204.8mpa. C276 composite panels are made by bonding two or metals in place. Meanwhile, Alloy C276 is resistant to oxidation at 1800¡ãF in the open air. However, alloy C276 is generally not recommended for high temperature service. The high molybdenum content makes alloy C276 prone to catastrophic oxidation under stagnant conditions, such as under solid deposits.
