Hastelloy C-276 is a wrought alloy of nickel, chromium and molybdenum that is very corrosion resistant. This alloy can be used in most chemical processes due to its resistance to grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat affected zone. Another thing: it also resists pitting and stress corrosion cracking, as well as oxidizing environments up to 1900F. Alloy C-276 is very resistant to chemicals.
