hastelloy c276 N10276 tubes with elbows and flanges
Hastelloy is a corrosion-resistant nickel alloy that contains other chemical elements such as chromium and molybdenum. This material has high temperature resistance and excellent corrosion resistance. Hastelloy C276 is one of the Hastelloy grades used in the oil and gas industry.
Hastelloy is a representative of the family of corrosion-resistant alloys. Both C-22 and C-276 are from the Hastelloy family, this similarity can lead to confusion, but C-22 has better overall corrosion resistance than C-276 and is often referred to as C-276 upgraded version.
HASTELLOY C-276 alloy is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium corrosion resistant alloy. The alloy is resistant to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. HASTELLOY C-276 alloy is hardened by cold work only. HASTELLOY Alloy C-276 operates at low temperatures up to 750¡ãF (400¡ãC).
