Hastelloy C276 Round Head Bolts with outstanding resistance to a wide variety of chemical process environments
Hastelloy C-276 also has exceptional resistance to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking and oxidizing atmospheres, as well as excellent resistance to multiple different chemical environments.
Hastelloy C-276 is wrought from a nickel-molybdenum-chromium combination. The metal was designed to be an improvement over Alloy C. Unlike Alloy C, Hastelloy C-276 does not require heat treatment after it is welded. This Nickel-Molybdenum-Chromium alloy with the addition of Tungsten, has excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of corrosive media and is especially resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion. Hastelloy C276 is a wrought nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy which displays a remarkable corrosion resistance in a very wide range of processing environments.
