C-276 alloy has excellent resistance to pitting and to stress-corrosion cracking. It is also one of the few materials that withstands the corrosive effects of wet chlorine gas, hypochlorite, and chlorine dioxide.

Alloy31 is a nitrogen-added iron-nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy. This alloy fills the gap between special alloys austenitic stainless steels and nickel alloys. Alloy 31 has been proven in the chemical and petrochemical industries, ore extractors, environmental and marine engineering, and oil and gas production.

Its outstanding strength and toughness in temperature ranges from cryogenic temperatures to high temperature up to 2000¡ã F (1093¡ã C) are derived primarily from the solid solution effects of the refractory metals Columbium and molybdenum in a nickel-chromium matrix.

The Alloy K500 Studs are threaded rods with threads on both ends. They can be different types depending on the threaded distance from the center and the thread type. The material is high temperature and high pressure resistant. It has 1350 degrees Celsius melting point, 790MPa minimum yield strength and 1100MPa minimum tensile strength. These values are double the strength of 304 grade.

Alloy 31 is a nickel, chromium and molybdenum stainless steel with added nitrogen and copper. Alloy 31 is a nitrogen-added iron-nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy.

Alloy 20 is an iron-based austenitic alloy with excellent corrosion resistance to a variety of different media, proven in many applications such as flue gas desulfurization, chemical processing, food processing and storage, and pharmaceutical applications to name a few example. Alloy C-276 is one of the most versatile corrosion-resistant alloys available today.

Alloy 400 is a solid solution alloy that can only be hardened by cold working.

Hastelloy X is extremely resistant to stress corrosion cracking in petrochemical applications. All product forms are excellent in forming and welding.

Studs are threaded at both ends and the middle screw, either thick or thin.It is generally used in mining machinery, Bridges, automobiles, motorcycles, boiler steel structure, pylon, long-span steel structure and large buildings. A bolt is a screw with a larger diameter or without a head, such as a stud.

Hastelloy B3 bolts are also known as alloy B-3 bolts and can be found under UNS N10675. This alloy is extremely resistant to pure hydrobromic, sulfuric and hydrochloric acids. Many industries, including the chemical industry, consider the alloy easy to machine, and its ductility allows machinists to easily form and even weld.

It is usually used in Thermocouple sheaths. Ethylene dichloride (EDC) cracking tubes.

C22 nickel alloy fasteners offer better overall corrosion resistance than its sister alloy Hastelloy C-276, and more specifically, it offers better protection when used in certain saturated wet chlorine environments. Additionally, its high chromium content provides C22 fasteners with better resistance to oxidative media than C276. This makes it excellent resistance to chloride-induced pitting, although in most cases C-276 fasteners are a more cost-effective option due to their availability, especially in sizes smaller than 1/ 2″ case.

The greatest advantage of Hastelloy B3 bolts compared to B-2 alloys is their ability to maintain excellent ductility during transient exposure to intermediate temperatures.

Inconel 600 Bolts are composed of Chromium, Nickel and Molybdenum. This makes these bolts superior to stainless and carbon steel bolts. The lengths of these bolts are between 3mm and 200mm. Inconel 600 Hex Bolts are highly resistant to corrosion and oxidation. These bolts are designed to handle extreme temperatures and high pressures.

Therefore, they can be used in chemical acid production plants and food production plants. There are different types such as ASTM F2281 UNS N02200 Ni 200 screws, hex bolts, socket head cap screws, hex nuts, washers, screws, studs and U-bolts. Fastener specification is ASTM B160. 2.4066 Nickel 200 Stud Bolts are composed of up to 99% Nickel, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Carbon, Silicon and Sulfur. ASTM F2281 nickel alloy bolts are expensive, but they are useful in sensitive applications that are susceptible to corrosion. The cost of fasteners is not as important as some chemical processing and food production applications. Nickel 200 UNS N02200 Hex Nuts are one of the most commonly used fasteners due to head geometry and high torque capability.

In Hastelloy C276 hex bolts, the chromium content is increased to about 21% and the molybdenum content is reduced to about 13%. Inconel 718 fasteners have been used in environments from -400o F (-250o C) to 1300o F (700o C). Typical applications include gas turbine parts and cryogenic storage tanks.

Monel 400 or also known as Nickel 400 is a solid solution alloy that is a high strength material that can be used over a wide temperature range. It also has excellent corrosion resistance and has applications in many areas in marine and chemical processing. It is used in applications such as valves, pumps, fresh water tanks and propeller shafts.

It is virtually immune to chlorine ion stress corrosion cracking. Demonstrates adequate resistance to organic acids such as acetic, formic and stearic. Excellent resistance to high purity water used in primary and secondary circuits of pressurized nuclear reactors.

Hastelloy fasteners such as bolts, screws, nuts and threaded rods are ideal for use in a variety of moderately to severely corrosive acid environments. The most common grade of Hastelloy fasteners is Hastelloy C276 (2.4819), which is one of the most versatile corrosion-resistant nickel alloys, surpassing Inconel or Monel. There are also other special grades of Hastelloy fasteners that can address more niche corrosion problems.

Monel 400 Bolts and Nuts are made from a nickel-copper alloy for extreme corrosion resistance, especially in sour conditions. The material is also strong and rigid and can be used to produce bolts and nuts for high temperature service.
