Duplex 2507 is known for its high strength and excellent resistance to chloride localized corrosion. This alloy is widely used because it has twice the yield strength of annealed austenitic stainless steels such as 304 and 316 stainless steels. At the same time, the super duplex stainless steel 1.4410 bolts feature a higher content of chromium, molybdenum and nickel than standard duplex steels, resulting in improved corrosion resistance. Super Duplex Steel 2507 Hex Bolts are extremely resistant to uniform corrosion, have good resistance to mineral acids/chlorides, have improved machinability and weldability, and have high impact strength.
