hex nut DIN934 Inconel 718 N07718 hex nuts
Inconel Alloy 718 is an alloy containing high amounts of nickel, chromium and molybdenum. It is one of the most popular nickel-based superalloys and is widely used for its excellent resistance to corrosive environments such as crevice and pitting corrosion.
Developed in the early 1960s, Inconel 718 is still considered the material of choice for most aircraft engine components operating at temperatures below 1200¡ãF (650¡ãC). 718 Nuts are used for excellent procedures involving metal welding. In addition, it has a carbon metal surface to resist heat, wear, corrosion and erosion. Intermediate and preheat temperatures are generally recommended and are now no lower than 300 degrees Fahrenheit. It has long been used for oxidation and corrosion resistance at unfavorable temperatures, up to 1500oF.
