High Strength Duplex Stainless Steel Alloy F55 2507 1.4410 nut DIN934
These grades of super duplex stainless steel fasteners are used when applications require excellent corrosion resistance and strength. Composed of nitrogen, molybdenum and chromium, they have excellent resistance to crevice corrosion and chloride pitting.
Similar to grades 304 or 316, which are austenitic grade stainless steels, super duplex UNS S32750 bolts, which are classified as duplex grade alloys, contain 50% of their microstructure as austenitic crystals. 2205 Nuts can generally be achieved with the same design strength as thicker nickel alloys using the lightweight specification of ASTM A479 Super Duplex Steel UNS S32750 Fasteners. The resulting weight savings can greatly reduce the overall cost of manufacture.
