Incoloy 800H pipe fittings elbows ideal for demanding applications including the marine engineering and aerospace
Incoloy 800 is an alloy with a higher content of iron. Due to the alloy having a higher content of ferrous, and lower content of nickel, the cost of Inconel 800 becomes low.
Alloy 800H/800HT has excellent resistance to nitric acid at concentrations up to 70% largely due to the chromium content. Incoloy 800HT will not become embrittled even after long periods of usage in the 1200-1600¡ã F range where many stainless steels become brittle. Excellent cold forming characteristics typically associated with the nickel-chromium alloys are exhibited with 800HT. The emphasis of this alloy is placed on the fact that it is more resistant to aggressive forms of corrosion. In particular, Incoloy 800 shows very high resistance to corrosive compounds seen in aqueous environments. The inclusion of chromium in combination with nickel in its chemistry makes it resilient to chemical and environmental corrosion.
