Incoloy 800H pipe fittings elbows in an alloy elevates its cost
Typical applications for alloy 800 and 800H are – Heat exchangers and process piping; carburizing fixtures and retorts; furnace components; electric range heating-element sheathing; extruded tubing for ethylene and steam methane reforming furnaces; ammonia effluent coolers.
Inconel 800, is an alloy whose chemical composition predominantly consists of nickel and chromium. Typically, the chemistry of this alloy contains over 50% nickel. They are mainly used in various applications from furnace components, petrochemical furnace cracker tubes to sheathing for electrical heating elements. The chemical balance allows the nickel steel alloy to exhibit excellent resistance to carburization, oxidation and nitriding atmospheres.
