Incoloy 800H pipe fittings elbows in industries like nuclear fuel
Alloy 800 is an iron-nickel-chromium alloy with moderate strength and good resistance to oxidation and carburization at elevated temperatures.
Alloy 800 (UNS N08800), Alloy 800H (UNS N08810) and Alloy 800HT (UNS N08811) have the same content of Nickel, Chromium and iron, what makes the difference is the combined titanium and aluminum levels (0.85 to 1.2%) to ensure optimum high temperature properties. In addition to offering high resistance to various forms of corrosion, both superalloys exhibit superior oxidation resistance. The general corrosion resistance is excellent. In the solution annealed condition, alloys 800H and 800HT have superior creep and stress rupture properties. Today, most suppliers, including Mega Mex, only carry the dual certified 800H/HT alloy.
