Alloy 800 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with high strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion at high temperatures. ASTM B407 UNS N08800 Incoloy 800 W. Nr. 1.4876 Welded Pipe is widely used for construction of equipment requiring corrosion resistance, heat resistance, strength, and stability for service up to 1500°F (816°C).

Incoloy 800 is an alloy whose primary constitution is made up of nickel, iron, and chromium. This particular alloy, unlike the former, has less than 50% nickel content in its chemical composition. Alloy 825 (UNS N08825) is an austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper and titanium. It was developed to provide exceptional resistance to numerous corrosive environments, both oxidizing and reducing.

They can also resist aqueous corrosion and hence can be used in marine applications.

These tubes can be readily welded in place following common welding process without requiring a matching filler metal.

ASTM B564 UNS N08810 Blind Flanges Incoloy 800 / 800H / 800HT Flanges are furnished with nickel-chromium-iron alloys that intend outstanding resistance and strength at harsh environments. The flanges exhibit superior resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking and crevice corrosion. Even more, it also shows superior intergranular corrosion, stress rupture and creepy aspects. The welding of these flanges is done using various techniques such as MIG, TIG and more.

The chemistry of Inconel 825 plate is designed to provide superior resistance to a variety of corrosive environments where most Incoloy alloys are added to a nickel-iron-chromium matrix.

Alloy 800H is a solution heat treated (2100¡ãF/1150¡ãC), controlled-carbon version of alloy 800 with improved elevated temperature properties. It has improved creep and stress-rupture characteristics in the 1100¡ãF (593¡ãC) to 1800¡ãF (982¡ãC) temperature range.

Alloy 800 bolts (WNR 1.4876 bolts) resist embrittlement due to nickel-containing sigma-phase precipitation and chloride stress corrosion cracking. It has further modifications to the combined levels of aluminium and titanium (0.85-1.20%) to ensure optimum high temperature performance. These are called UNS N08800 bolts and are actually for high temperature structural applications. At the same time, the corrosion resistance of these bolts is quite high. We offer these types of alloys in all material grades, sizes and sizes.

The chromium and nickel contents of this alloy provide excellent oxidation resistance at low concentrations of oxidizing and reducing sulfur, good resistance to carburization and sulfidation. The alloy also has reasonable resistance to nitriding in cracked ammonia, but not as much as Inconel 600.

Typical applications for alloy 800 and 800H are – Heat exchangers and process piping; carburizing fixtures and retorts; furnace components; electric range heating-element sheathing; extruded tubing for ethylene and steam methane reforming furnaces; ammonia effluent coolers.

Alloy 800 round bars are used for service at low temperatures, and 800 is also resistant to water corrosion. Alloy 800H Welded Pipes (also known as WNR 1.4958 Welded Pipe). Chemical and petrochemical processing industries use these UNS N08810 Welded Pipes for heat exchangers and other piping systems in nitric acid media especially where resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking is required. Power plants use them for super-heater and re-heater tubing.

The emphasis of this alloy is placed on the fact that it is more resistant to aggressive forms of corrosion. In particular, Incoloy 800 shows very high resistance to corrosive compounds seen in aqueous environments.

Similar to Inconel grades, Incoloy grade alloys have nickel and chromium as the main base elements. The only difference between these two alloy classes is their chemical composition. Inconel alloys contain almost more than 50% nickel, while Incoloy alloys are not only less than 50% nickel, but the alloys also contain iron. Known as a heat-resistant alloy, Inconel 825 has excellent properties. The most interesting properties of Incoloy 825 fasteners are their high creep resistance and high mechanical strength despite prolonged exposure to heat. The importance of these attributes in particular is considered critical across multiple industries.

Bolts and Nuts fall under the ASTM B166 specification for hot and cold work Inconel 600 bar, bar bolts and nuts. Standards vary from DIN, ASTM, BS and all other international standards. Inconel 600 fasteners can vary in length from custom lengths and 3mm to 200mm, and also in sizes from M3 to M56 and 3/6″ to 2″. Inconel 800, 800H and 800HT are nickel-iron-chromium alloys with excellent strength and good rust and carburization resistance at high temperature exposure. These types of nickel metal alloys are the same except that the 800H alloy has a higher carbon content, and about 1.20% aluminum and titanium are added to the 800HT alloy.

Incoloy 800H has a restricted carbon content range of 0.05 to 0.10%, which is in the upper portion of that of Incoloy 800, and is annealed at 1149 to 1177oC (Incoloy 800 is annealed at 983 to 1038oC). These differences impart it to have higher stress rupture and creep properties than Incoloy 800.

The strength of 800H is achieved by controlled levels of carbon, aluminum and titanium along with a 2100¡ãF minimum anneal to achieve a grain size of ASTM 5 or coarser.

Incoloy Alloy 800 / 800H / 800HT Fasteners (Nuts and Bolts) series for extreme corrosion resistance even in sour environments. Due to the high nickel and chromium content, Incoloy 800 bolts resist oxidation and carburization at high temperatures. The nickel content provides very good resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking and pitting. By conventional methods, these fasteners are formed by cold and hot working processes. The seamless nature results in a very uniform surface, which results in a uniform wall thickness along the length of the pipe. There are alloy nickel tubes and pure alloy tubes. Pure nickel pipe is actually commercially pure and contains about 99% nickel in its composition. Nickel welded pipe is ideal for welding needs. Nickel is inherently very corrosion resistant and lightweight. These attributes of elements are used in various applications.

Incoloy 825 is stable annealed at 940°C. The softest structure was obtained at 980°C. Sections heavier than sheet, strip and wire should be quenched to avoid sensitivity.

Incoloy 800H is an iron-nickel-chromium alloy having the same basic composition as Incoloy 800, with significantly higher creep-rupture strength.

The Alloy 800H Tube has good machining characteristics as seen in iron-based alloy and they tend to work-harden during the machining process.
