Incoloy 800HT Elbows with good creep and oxidation resistance
Incoloy 800, 800H, and 800HT are nickel-iron-chromium alloys with good strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization in high-temperature exposure.
UNS N08810/UNS N08811-Incoloy 800 H is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy that shares the same basic composition as Incoloy 800 but has a significantly higher creep rupture strength. Incoloy 800, 800H, and 800HT are nickel-iron-chromium alloys with good strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization in high-temperature exposure. These nickel steel alloys are identical except for the higher level of carbon in alloy 800H, and the addition of up to 1.20 percent aluminum and titanium in alloy 800HT. It also resists corrosion in many aqueous environments. The increased strength is due to strict control of the carbon, aluminium, and titanium content, as well as a high temperature anneal. The 800H modification was made to regulate the carbon content (0.05 to 0.10 percent) and grain size (>ASTM 5) in order to optimise the stress rupture properties.
