Incoloy 825 2.4858 mild steel sheet

Due to the molybdenum and copper content, alloy 825 plate makes the alloy resistant to reducing agents and acids. Chromium provides oxidative resistance to conditions such as nitrates and oxidizing salts and nitric acid solutions. It offers excellent corrosion resistance through phosphoric and sulfuric acid and is generally the most cost-effective alloy for sulfuric acid service.

inconel 825 plate is approved for pressure vessel operating temperatures up to 525¡ãC. At temperatures above about 540¡ãC, a brittle phase may form and is therefore not typically used at temperatures where creep rupture characteristics will be a design factor. Meanwhile, Alloy 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum and copper. It has excellent resistance to reducing and oxidizing acids, stress corrosion cracking, and localized corrosion such as pitting and crevice corrosion. Alloy 825 is particularly resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acid. Alloy 825 is used in chemical processing, pollution control equipment, oil and gas well piping, nuclear fuel reprocessing, acid production and pickling equipment, and radioactive waste disposal.
