Incoloy 926 Flange super austenitic molybdenum stainless steel Flange
Incoloy 926 Stainless Steel Flange has Improved the stability of metallurgical compared to a range of 18% of the nickel content alloys.
Inconel 926 Flange is made of an austenitic stainless steel alloy with an elemental composition comparable to 904L. It contains 0.2 per cent nitrogen and 6.5 per cent molybdenum. The addition of molybdenum and nitrogen to the halide medium greatly improved pitting and crevice corrosion resistance. However, nickel and nitrogen not only maintain metallographic stability but also reduces the separating intergranular trend in the thermal process or welding process better than nickel alloys with lower nitrogen concentration. Like all austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steels, Incoloy 926 (N08926) alloy has a large work hardening rate, so it is necessary to select processing equipment. The cold-worked material should be in a solution heat-treated state, and intermediate annealing should be carried out when the amount of cold work is large.
