Inconel 600 Bushing considerable resistance under reducing conditions
At elevated temperatures, the annealed and solution annealed alloys exhibit good oxidation resistance and high strength.
Alloy 600 is a nickel-chromium-iron solid solution strengthened alloy with a nominal chemical composition of 72% nickel, 16% chromium and 8% iron. It is commonly referred to by the trade name Inconel 600 and the generic name UNS N06600. Machining Inconel 600 can be difficult due to work hardening and should be done in the annealed condition. Machining is somewhat similar to 304, requiring heavy tooling to handle this material and can be cold formed using standard manufacturing techniques.
