Inconel 600 Bushing in strong oxidizing solutions like hot
Alloy 600 is machinable in both hot and annealed conditions. Due to the large amount of heat generated when machining this alloy, high-speed steel, cast non-ferrous or carbide tools should be used.
Inconel (nickel-chromium-iron) alloy 600 is a highly corrosion and heat resistant alloy with excellent mechanical properties ideal for high temperature applications such as heat treatment, aerospace, electronics and nuclear reactors. With a minimum nickel content of 72%, this alloy is resistant to many organic and inorganic compounds and also has good corrosion resistance under reducing conditions.
