This material is commonly used in chemical processing, heat treatment industries, soap making, electrical, nuclear and aerospace. Alloy 600 can be hot and cold formed using typical processes. Hot working should be done between 1600¡ãF and 2250¡ãF, avoid any work between 1200-1600¡ãF as ductility will decrease in this temperature range.
