Inconel 600 hex nuts high nickel content 2.4816 nuts
It is virtually immune to chlorine ion stress corrosion cracking. Demonstrates adequate resistance to organic acids such as acetic, formic and stearic. Excellent resistance to high purity water used in primary and secondary circuits of pressurized nuclear reactors.
Nickel alloy 600 (UNS N06600) is preferred over grades like alloy 200 when sulfur compounds or heavily oxidizing conditions are present. The alloy also has excellent mechanical properties and presents the desirable combination of high strength and good workability. This material is nearly immune to chloride ions and subsequent stress corrosion cracking, except in caustic alkalis, where stress relieving at elevated temperatures (1650¡ãF / 900¡ãC for 1 hour) before use is recommended.
