Inconel 625 round bar join dissimilar metals
Inconel 625 round bar is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-based alloy. This makes it very good at resisting non-oxidizing environments. They are widely used in the manufacturing sector of the economy.
Inconel 625 Bar is a higher corrosion and oxidation resistant nickel alloy used for its high strength and excellent water corrosion resistance. These 625 Inconel rods, bars and wires are recognized as UNS N06625 rods and DIN 2.4856 rods with a higher nickel-chromium alloy content and are used in applications requiring corrosion and high temperature resistance.
Chemically, it consists of elements such as carbon, manganese, silicon, copper, sulfur, ferrous, molybdenum, nickel and chromium. They also contain some traces of niobium compounds, making them work well at high temperatures and in any annealing atmosphere. They can be soft annealed, so they are used to resist wet corrosion. Therefore, they are also used in pressure vessels to meet high stress, pressure and corrosion protection requirements.
