Inconel 718 2.4668 steel pipe fabrication high strength in temperature
Inconel 718 has become useful in a wide range of applications ranging from manufacturing operations to military equipment and the aerospace industry.
This nickel superalloy has an intrinsic ability to create a strong and stable oxide layer when exposed to heat. This natural passivation feature protects the material against damage. Inconel 718 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy designed to resist a wide range of severely corrosive environments, pitting and crevice corrosion. This nickel steel alloy also displays exceptionally high yield, tensile, and creep-rupture properties at high temperatures. Inconel 718 is a Gamma Prime strengthened alloy with excellent mechanical properties at elevated temperatures, as well as cryogenic temperatures. Suitable for temperatures upto around 1300 F. Can be readily worked and age hardened.
