Inconel 625 tube is a nickel-based alloy with added elements such as chromium and molybdenum in the alloy. Inconel WERKSTOFF NR. 2.4856 Tubing is a non-magnetic alloy. Inconel NCF 625 tubing maintains its high tensile strength even in high temperature environments, where temperatures can rise to 2,000°F. Unlike other metals, Inconel UNS N06625 Tubing can withstand both extremes of temperature, which means ASTM B705 Inconel 625 Tubing can be used in cryogenic environments. It has high strength and toughness in the low temperature range to 2000°F (1093°C) due to the solid solution effect of refractory metals, niobium and molybdenum in a nickel-chromium matrix.
