Incoloy

Chemically, Incoloy fasteners are composed of nickel, iron and chromium as the primary alloy materials. In addition to these elements, trace amounts of molybdenum, copper and titanium are added to the B425 N08825 alloy. Components made from this alloy, including various Inconel 825 bolts and nuts, are less prone to deformation. This is because the alloy has a stable FCC microstructure. Like many conventional austenitic grade stainless steels, Alloy 825 threaded rod has a stable austenitic structure.

Inconel 825 fasteners have excellent resistance to both reducing and oxidizing acids in addition to general corrosion. These Incoloy 825 fasteners also resist stress-related corrosion cracking, localized corrosion such as pitting and crevice corrosion. Incoloy 825 is particularly resistant to acids such as sulfuric and phosphoric acid. Austenitic stabilizing elements such as nickel, one of the main alloying agents for nickel alloy 825 hex bolts, remain unchanged even in high temperature environments. Since the structure remains unchanged, the DIN 2.4858 studs are less likely to deform.

Incoloy 825 hex nuts are known for their tight tolerances and precise dimensions. Incoloy 825 Heavy Duty Hex Nuts offer excellent resistance to localized corrosion such as reducing and oxidizing acids, stress corrosion cracking, and pitting and crevice corrosion. These Incoloy 825 nuts have good mechanical properties from low to moderately high temperatures. However, exposure of these alloy 825 nuts to temperatures above 1000¡ãF results in microstructural changes that significantly reduce ductility and impact strength.

Inconel 725 Nuts, also known as UNS N07725 Nuts, are highly corrosion resistant and age hardenable for extreme strength. It is used in a wide range of severely corrosive environments. Age hardened Alloy 725 nuts are twice as strong as annealed Alloy 625. Inconel 725 Hex Nuts are an excellent choice for the petrochemical and process industries. They are also commonly used in marine applications where high strength fasteners that resist seawater corrosion, pitting and crevice corrosion are required.

Incoloy 800H and 800HT are members of the Incoloy 800 family of alloys and have the same chemical composition, but slightly different levels of carbon, titanium and aluminum. We manufacture Incoloy 800/H/HT fasteners with excellent resistance to oxidation, water and reducing environments. Due to their excellent tensile strength and toughness, these fasteners can operate efficiently in high temperature and high pressure environments.

Incoloy Alloy 800 / 800H / 800HT Fasteners (Nuts and Bolts) series for extreme corrosion resistance even in sour environments. Due to the high nickel and chromium content, Incoloy 800 bolts resist oxidation and carburization at high temperatures. The nickel content provides very good resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking and pitting. By conventional methods, these fasteners are formed by cold and hot working processes. To increase ductility and hardness, our highly developed cells perform standard welding and forming processes.

INCOLOY 800/800H/800HT is a family of high nickel superalloys commonly used in the petrochemical processing industry. INCOLOY 800HT is similar to INCOLOY 800/800H, but with improved creep rupture strength. All of these alloys have high corrosion resistance. At higher temperatures, Incoloy 800 fasteners provide resistance to vulcanization, carburization and oxidation, as well as fracture and creep strength. Incoloy 800 bolts are a solid solution austenitic alloy. Appearing in the microstructure of Incoloy 800 are chromium carbide, titanium carbide and titanium nitride. Incoloy 800H Hex Head Bolts are easy to machine using standard methods. Thermoforming of Incoloy 800 is done in the temperature range of 870 to 1200 ¡ãC (1600 to 2200 ¡ãF). Incoloy 800 screws are used in power plants.

Incoloy 800 fasteners resist oxidation at high temperatures, a problem with most stainless steel alloys. Fasteners made from Incoloy 800 are also in great demand in petrochemical and chemical processing. Even when exposed to very high temperatures, Incoloy 800H fasteners maintain a very stable structure, making them very practical and sought after in many industries.

Inconel 725 bolt material meets ASTM B446, B564, F467, F468, UNS N06725, DIN EN 2.4856, AMS 5666 and BS 3076 specifications and is adequate for demanding strength, corrosion resistance and high temperature applications up to 1000o C (1800o F).

As an austenitic and nickel-based alloy, Alloy 926 nuts are ductile over a wide temperature range from low temperatures to over 1000 degrees Fahrenheit (538 degrees Celsius). Machinability is typical of nickel-based alloys, with alloy 926 bolts that can be easily welded and formed using a variety of techniques.

Alloy 926 is a super austenitic molybdenum stainless steel with excellent resistance to a variety of highly corrosive environments. The combination of molybdenum and nitrogen in its composition resists pitting and crevice corrosion, while copper improves sulfuric acid resistance, while nitrogen increases yield and tensile strength.

Incoloy A-286 is an age-hardenable iron-nickel-chromium alloy designed for applications requiring high strength and good corrosion resistance at temperatures up to 700¡ãC (1290¡ãF). Like other specialty materials in the Inconel family, Incoloy A-286 fasteners have excellent corrosion resistance and can be made into a variety of fasteners including hex bolts, washers, nuts and studs.

Monel bolts, such as Monel 400 and K500, are made of nickel-copper alloys and exhibit high strength, toughness and good corrosion resistance over a wide temperature range. A standout feature of Monel bolts is their excellent resistance to hydrofluoric acid, a particularly difficult acid to handle, at all concentrations up to the boiling point. For hydrofluoric acid applications, Monel bolts are probably the most corrosion resistant of all commonly used specialty alloys.

Inconel 926 bolt material meets ASTM B446, B564, F467, F468, UNS N06926, DIN EN 2.4856, AMS 5666 and BS 3076 specifications and is adequate for high strength, corrosion resistance and high temperature applications up to 1000o C (1800o F).

Alloy 926 (1.4529) screws are the perfect replacement for 316L when higher corrosion resistance is required without increased strength. Alloy 926 fasteners are considered a 6-molybdenum alloy (6-molybdenum or 6% molybdenum), similar to sister alloys AL6XN and SMO 254. In the stainless steel category, these 6 molybdenum alloys are considered very corrosion resistant.

Bolts made from Alloy 926 are a super austenitic molybdenum stainless steel with comparable corrosion resistance to Super Duplex 2507, but with slightly lower strength and cost. Chemically nearly identical to 6-molybdenum alloys AL6XN and SMO 254, alloy 926 is commonly used in paper mills, desalination and mild acid environments.

Gold 926 fasteners are also similar in composition to 904L, but with the addition of nitrogen and molybdenum, resulting in alloy 926 bolts with improved general corrosion resistance as well as pitting and crevice corrosion resistance. Because Alloy 926 is resistant to chloride stress corrosion cracking, it makes 926 fasteners ideal for desalination, pulp and paper mills. This alloy is also ideal for dilute sulfuric and phosphoric acid applications.
