Due to its high strength and stiffness properties, Inconel 800 is an alloy that is ideal for demanding applications including the marine engineering, aerospace, and chemical processing industries.

INCOLOY alloy 800 (UNS N08800, W. Nr. 1.4876) is a widely used material for construction of equipment requiring corrosion resistance, heat resistance, strength, and stability for service up to 1500¡ãF (816¡ãC).

Alloy 800 offers general corrosion resistance to many aqueous media and, by virtue of its content of nickel, resists stress corrosion cracking.

At elevated temperatures it offers resistance to oxidation, carburization, and sulfidation along with rupture and creep strength.

For applications requiring greater resistance to stress rupture and creep, especially at temperatures above 1500¡ãF (816¡ãC), INCOLOY alloys 800H and 800HT are used.

The emphasis of this alloy is placed on the fact that it is more resistant to aggressive forms of corrosion. In particular, Incoloy 800 shows very high resistance to corrosive compounds seen in aqueous environments.

INCOLOY alloy 800 is used in a variety of applications involving exposure to corrosive environments and high temperatures.

The inclusion of chromium in combination with nickel in its chemistry makes it resilient to chemical and environmental corrosion.

825 Nickel Alloy Sheet is used in industries such as air pollution control, chemical and petrochemical, food processing, nuclear energy, corrosion resistant applications in offshore oil and gas production, ore processing, petroleum refining, steel pickling and waste disposal.

Alloy 825 (UNS N08825) is an austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper and titanium.

It was developed to provide exceptional corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments.

The addition of titanium stabilizes Alloy 825 against sensitization in the as-welded condition making the alloy resistant to intergranular attack after exposure to temperatures in a range that would sensitize un-stabilized stainless steels.

The fabrication of Alloy 825 is typical of nickel-base alloys, with material being readily formable and weldable by a variety of techniques.

They are also resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acid.

They can also resist aqueous corrosion and hence can be used in marine applications.

The presence of titanium prevents sensitization at the grain boundary.?

B564 UNS N08825?has copper present in it which makes it immune to brine and seawater.

For service requiring optimum creep and rupture properties, Incoloy 800H or 800 HT are used. The high contents of nickel and chromium in the alloys also give good corrosion resistance.

Thermal processing equipment in industrial applications, such as baskets, trays, and fixtures. In chemical or petrochemical processing it is used for heat exchangers and piping systems in nitric acid media, especially where resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking is required.
