Although there are several variants of Hastelloy nickel alloys, Hastelloy C-276 is by far the most widely used.

HASTELLOY C-276 alloy has excellent resistance to a variety of chemical process environments, including strong oxidizing agents such as ferric and copper chlorides, hot fouling media (organic and inorganic), chlorine, formic and acetic acids, acetic anhydride, and Seawater and brine solutions. It can be used in flue gas desulfurization systems due to its excellent resistance to sulfur compounds and chloride ions in most scrubbers.

The tungsten element of Hastelloy C276 pipe makes it suitable for this welding, Hastelloy C276 seamless pipe can be easily welded to other objects.

Hastelloy tube has a melting point of 1370 degrees Celsius and is used in power generation, petrochemical, gas processing and chemical equipment. In addition, Werkstoff 2.4819 Hastelloy c-276 tubing is used in industries such as seawater equipment, offshore oil drilling, and paper and pulp.

ASTM B165 (same as ASME SB-165) is a standard specification covering the nickel-copper alloy Monel 400 (UNS N04400) in cold-worked seamless tube form.

Unique among Monel alloys, ASTM B165 Monel Seamless and Welded Pipe is considered a Puritan alloy because it contains the same nickel and copper content as the natural nickel ore found in the Sudbury mine in Ontario, Canada.

Although ASTM B165 UNS N04400 material has lower strength in the annealed condition, it exhibits excellent mechanical properties even at sub-zero temperatures. Monel tubes can be used up to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. In order to improve the mechanical properties of Monel 400 welded pipe, it is possible to make finished products on it.

These pipes are difficult to machine because they harden from machining. Alloy 400 welded pipe can be processed using conventional techniques.

These Monel 400 pipes have high strength and toughness over a wide temperature range and have excellent resistance to many corrosive environments.

The low carbon content in the 2.4819 alloy C276 tube minimizes carbide precipitation. Carbide precipitation is a phenomenon that occurs during welding of various alloy grades.

Monel K500, UNS N05500 (QQ-N-286), is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-copper alloy that combines the corrosion resistance of Monel alloy 400 with greater strength (over 2x as strong) and hardness. It also has low permeability and is nonmagnetic to temperatures as low as -150¡ãF (-101¡ãC).

Din 931 indicates partially threaded hex head cap screw ¨C The DIN 931 standard will specify the thread tolerance. ? M16; diameter in mm (16 mm) ? In the metric system, all fasteners are assumed coarse thread unless another thread pitch is stated.

The Alloy K500 Studs are threaded rods with threads on both ends. They can be different types depending on the threaded distance from the center and the thread type. The material is high temperature and high pressure resistant. It has 1350 degrees Celsius melting point, 790MPa minimum yield strength and 1100MPa minimum tensile strength. These values are double the strength of 304 grade.

The Stud Bolt is a threaded rod with 2 heavy hexagon nuts, while the Hex Bolt has a head with one nut. Nuts and head are both six sided. Bolts threading are defined in ASME B1.1 Unified Inch Screw Threads, (UN and UNR Thread Form). The most common thread is a symmetrical form with a V-profile. The included angle is 60¡ã. This form is widely used in the Unified thread (UN, UNC, UNF, UNRC, UNRF) form as the ISO / metric threads.

Monel K500 Washers have the same basic iron and carbon composition, but steel also contains a healthy dose of chromium that gives its famous corrosion resistance.

Spring washers are locking washers that are used when there is a need to prevent a fastener from loosening as a result of vibration. They are also often called split lock or split ring washers.

DIN 933 technically ranges from M1. 6 to M52, whereas ISO 4017 ranges from M1. 6 to M64. Secondly, that’s it really, the DIN 933 and ISO 4017 standards are the exact same with the exception of M10, M12, M14 and M22.

Monel K-500 (N05500) Bolts are manufactured by the cold heading and hot forming technologies in nominal diameters ranging from 1/8¡±- 3¡± (M3 ¨C M80). It can be in both USCS/Imperial and metric sizes.
