Monel 400 pipe N04400 steel tube alloy 2.4360 tube

Monel 400 is a popular nickel-copper alloy commonly used in high performance applications. The alloy has high resistance to acidic and alkaline environments, high strength, good ductility and thermal conductivity. Monel 400® is suitable for use in the subzero to 1,000°F (538°C) temperature range and can only be hardened by cold work.

Alloy 400 tubing and tubing products are sized to meet high strength and corrosion resistance in a variety of media including seawater, hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid, and alkalis.

Monel 400 or Alloy 400 is a solid solution alloy whose composition consists of nickel and copper. While the nickel content is about 67%, the copper content in the Monel 400 pipe chemistry is about 23%. Typical of most nickel-containing alloys, this grade tends to have high strength even at high temperatures. Although Monel 400 seamless tubing is not recommended for use at temperatures above 1000°F.

Monel 400 tube is made of nickel copper alloy. This specific material has high strength, high corrosion resistance and high wear resistance. Indian Steel is the supplier of these pipes and our customers also use them for ductility, thermal conductivity and acid resistance. Monel 400 pipe prices may vary based on nominal size, schedule, wall thickness grade and application requirements. We produce these pipes in welded, resistance welded and seamless conditions.
