nickel-chronmium-iron alloy 600 solid steel bar Inconel 600 UNS N06600 bar Nickel alloy bar
Chromium, when added to Alloy 600 Inconel rods along with nickel, increases the alloy’s resistance to sulfur-containing compounds while providing resistance to oxidizing conditions at high temperatures or in the presence of corrosive solutions.
Alloy 600 is resistant to many corrosives. The alloy has excellent resistance to alkaline solutions and good resistance to strongly oxidizing acid solutions.
These rods have good machinability, formability, so they can be easily modified to any complex design. In addition, it also has the characteristics of high temperature resistance. It is particularly resistant to attack by dry chlorine or hydrogen chloride, even at temperatures up to 650¡ãC.
